The fifth edition of the USA Pears Daredevils School Cup will start on Wednesday, 23 November. The tournament will be inaugurated by India limited-overs and Delhi Daredevils left-arm spinner Pawan Negi. The opening match of the tournament of the tournament will be played at the Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, Lodhi Estate.
A total of 40 schools are scheduled to play in the tournament featuring a total of 51 matches over a month, in what is an invitational inter-school Twenty20 event. The tournament aims to attract the best talent from schools in the National Capital Region (NCR) of Delhi and is now in its fifth year since it started in 2012.
“Like always we plan to reach out, involve and engage with students from the city. This year as always we want to continue to establish our strong connect with the city,” said Delhi Daredevils CEO Hemant Dua.
