Pavna group lifts the Daikins Daredevils Corporate Cup yet again
Pavna Group does it again, beats EY in the finale of the Daikins Daredevils Corporate Cup, 3rd edition. 6 weeks of this spectacular carnival culminated in the lush green grounds of Abhi Sports Complex, after a scintillating match Pavna Group lifted the winner’s trophy by chasing a target of 144 runs, EY Team pulled up the brave front and gave a tough fight to the winning team. The action packed finale today kept both the team on edge, while EY won the toss and elected to bat first and putting up 143 score, it was Pavna Group, which took home the prize by chasing down the decent target in 17.5 over and 4 wickets to spare.
The Final match marked the closing ceremony of the 3rd Daredevils Corporate Cricket presented by Daikin in the august presence of Mr. Kiran Kumar Grandhi - the Corporate Chairman of GMR Group, Mr. Hemant Dua- CEO Delhi Daredevils, TA Sekar, and Mr Sunil Valson AVP- Delhi Daredevils and Former Indian Test Cricketer and Member of 1983 World Cup Winning Team; among many other senior dignitaries. It had brought together a wide spectrum of people including corporates from the 24 participating teams.
The enthusiasm both on and off-field was in full swing as the RJ ADI, RJ SID and RJ Lucky from radio station Fever 104 kept the everyone entertained with their wit and humor.
Talking about the tournament, Sunil Valson – AVP GMR Sports said, “Daredevils Corporate Cup is a unique platform that celebrates sportsmanship and teamwork. The Grand Finale was truly a difficult contest between teams given that both were power houses of sports.”
The finalists Pavna Group and EY, top teams for the Cup had proved their mettle through a series of highly competitive matches throughout the tournament.
