CHENNAI, May 8:  Virender Sehwag took his tally of runs to 468 in the DLF Indian Premier League 2012 and reclaimed the Orange Cap from Ajinkya Rahane (463 runs) during the Delhi Daredevils’ six-wicket loss to Kolkata Knight Riders at the Ferozshah Kotla in New Delhi on Monday.

With 1852 runs in IPL matches, Sehwag is in the fourth place in the list of run scorers after Suresh Raina (2078), Gautam Gambhir (1932) and Sachin Tendulkar (1925). And, with 78 sixes, he is also in the fourth place of leading six hitters.

With 340 runs, Mahela Jayawardene leads the list of run-getters against Kolkata Knight Riders in all IPL matches.

It was Irfan Pathan’s 100 T20 match and he marked it by hitting his 50th six in T20 matches.
