Sehwag leading run-getter, Mishra has most wickets for Daredevils


New Delhi: Virender Sehwag was the leading run-getter for Delhi Daredevils in IPL-3 with a total of 356 runs from 14 matches. Sehwag, one of the only three players in the team to have played all 14 matches, had three fifties in the tournament.
David Warner with 282 runs, including an unbeaten 107, the only century by a Daredevil in the tournament, was the second highest scorer, while wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Karthik, the vice-captain had 278 runs, and skipper Gautam Gambhir 277.
Paul Collingwood, the England captain had 203 runs with three fifties. He had the best average of 40.6 per innings.
Amongst bowlers, Amit Mishra had the best haul with 17 wickets from 14 matches. Pradeep Sangwan was the nest best with nine wickets from eight matches.
