Rules and regulations:
TEAMS: Eight teams will be given invitation for participation in the tournament.
PLAYERS: Each team is allowed to give names of 8 players of which 6 are entitled to play a single match.
MATCH DURATION: The match duration will be of 10 overs with maximum of 5 overs for each side to bat and bowl. The teams will be divided into two groups consisting 4 teams each. Each team in a group will play three matches each (once against each other with total of six matches in each group) on a league basis. The winners of each group will play the final. In the league stage, each winning team will get 2 points each. The team getting the maximum points will be declared group winner. In case of a tie between two teams, the winner amongst the match between them will be adjudged winner. In case of a tie between three teams, net run rate will be taken into account to place the teams. In case of rain interrupting the tournament, the matches will be played on knock-out basis.
OVERS: Fielding team bowlers can only bowl maximum of 1 over each. Apart from the designated wicket keeper each fielder/player is allowed to bowl an over each. Beyond the bowling crease a line will be drawn at 15 ft to limit the run up for the bowler.
TIME: Each 6 ball over will have a stipulated time of 3 minutes. And for each team 15 minutes to bowl the quota of 5 overs. There will be no change over time between innings.
RULES & CONDITIONS: The rules applied will coincide with the ODI rules. There will be two runs for every no-ball and wide ball. In addition, the runs scored or taken on these balls will be accounted for. The boundaries are marked will rope and flags. There will be no field restrictions during the entire match. All other rules will be same as per the MCC rules and regulations and the umpires will abide by Limited overs rules.
BOUNDARY: The 6s and 4s boundaries will be marked or flagged at 100 feet/35 meters from either side of the batting area.
MATTING PITCH: A coir matting (60 x 10 feet) will be used for batting form both ends. Wide ball area will be marked for the benefit of the umpires.
BATSMAN TO RETIRE: Any batsman on reaching a personal score of 30 runs will be allowed to play only one more scoring shot and thereafter retire. Though, he can bat again when all the batsmen of the batting team are out and only the last man is left. The last not-out batsman will not be allowed to bat alone.
COLOURED T-SHIRTS: Teams will be provided with a colored t-shirt, which will be compulsory for every player to wear while playing the match.
CAPS: Teams will be provided a cap each for the player and it is mandatory to wear the cap while playing the match.
SCORECARD: There will be an official scorer for every match and the teams will appoint a player each to be with the scorer for the duration of the match.
UMPIRES: Qualified umpires will organize the match and their decision on cricketing matters will be final and every player will have to abide with the decision of the on field umpires.
MAN OF THE MATCH: Man of the match will be decided by the two umpires
